The lead segment features an interview with Admin. Lisa Jackson, Environmental Protection Agency who discusses the slow and steady path to reinstituting clean water and air regulations. Maher and Jackson banter about the balance of powers between state and federal powers. Over the last eight year, federal powers have exerted more and more influence over state rights, denying states like California the right to advance higher emission standards.

Real Time's second guest segment includes guests:
